Description
Simplify everyday hearing aid care with Phonak EasyGuard domes. The traditional hearing aid domes leave the receiver opening exposed and often rely on separate wax filters. However, EasyGuard domes contain a patented, sealed membrane which transmits sound while helping block earwax and moisture before either reaches the receiver.
The protective membrane helps keep the receiver clean and reduces the need to handle small wax filters; routine cleaning only requires a gentle wipe with a clean, dry cloth.
Key features:
- Sealed, sound-transmitting membrane
- Helps protect the receiver from earwax
- Adds protection against moisture and wax build-up
- Makes routine cleaning much easier
- Reduces the need to replace separate wax filters
- Supports clear, dependable sound
- Helps to protect the receiver and extend its service life
- Soft designs that are comfortable and secure fit
- Available in open, vented and power styles
Compatible with:
EasyGuard domes work with selected Phonak hearing aids and compatible SDS 4.0, SDS 5.0 and SDS 6.0 receivers or SlimTubes.
Note: Compatibility depends on the hearing aid model, receiver or SlimTube generation, acoustic setup, dome style and dome size. Choose the same dome style and size that is already fitted in your hearing aid unless your hearing professional suggests otherwise. If you order the wrong domes, it could affect your comfort, sound quality, retention and hearing aid performance; these EasyGuard domes are not universal.
How to fit:
- Wash your hands and dry them.
- Hold the receiver or SlimTube securely.
- Gently pull off the existing dome.
- Check the receiver or SlimTube for any wax, moisture or damage.
- Position the new EasyGuard dome over the receiver or SlimTube.
- Press the dome into place until firmly attached.
- Check the connection before inserting the hearing aid.
How to clean:
- Remove the hearing aid from your ear.
- Gently wipe the dome with a soft, dry cloth.
- Clear visible wax WITHOUT applying water or liquid cleaner.
- Inspect the dome for splits, hardening or damage.
- Follow your hearing care professional’s replacement guidance.
