Description
Receiver wires do become worn after time. Due to the amount of time you can wear your hearing aid changing your receiver wire can provide you with consistent audio performance.
Receivers on average can last up to 6-12 months, this does depend on your amount of use. Especially if you remove and insert your hearing aids daily.
If your audio quality begins to reduce we recommend maintaining your hearing aids by changing your wax filters and replacing your receiver wire.

These 2 Pin xReceivers are only compatible with the Phonak Hearing Aids.
Compatible with all Phonak hearing aids apart from Marvel & Paradise. The compatible hearing aids include Belong, Venture, Quest & more!

How to identify your receiver side, size & power:
Each receiver is color-coded to help you identify which ear is required.
Ear side:
Blue = Left
Red = Right
On the side of the receiver wire, you should either see a print or an embossed set of numbers. These will indicate your strength and wire length.
Length/Size:
0, 1, 2 or 3
Power:
Standard = S
Power = P
EXAMPLE RECEIVER = LEFT, 1, STANDARD
How to change your receivers
Retention Locks for your receivers: (Sold Separately)
These are thin flexible plastic attachments that slide onto the receiver to help achieve a snug fit inside your ear area. If you’re very active these help to reduce your hearing aid from moving during use.
Choose the same power of retention lock as receiver wire, for example, Standard (S) lock for Standard receiver.
To insert a hearing aid with a retention lock:
- Insert the hearing aid as usual
- Tuck the retention lock into the bottom of the concha (the part of your ear just outside the ear canal)

Domes for Phonak 2 Pin xReceivers: (Sold Separately)
These are the small grey rubber tips that are placed on the end of your receiver and sit inside your ear canal. There are many different types of domes to suit your hearing loss.

Since the broken wire was for the left hearing aid, which is my “bad” ear I chose the expedited shipping. I appreciated being able to track the shipment, and it arrived when expected.
