The Starkey SnapFit™ and SnapFit 2.0™ CROS Receivers are specially designed solutions for individuals with single-sided deafness, providing clear and balanced sound by wirelessly transmitting audio from the non-hearing ear to the hearing aid in the better ear. Engineered for comfort, reliability, and seamless compatibility with Starkey’s range of hearing aids, these receivers help restore spatial awareness and improve listening in noisy environments. Both Starkey SnapFit and SnapFit 2.0 CROS receivers come in a range of lengths (1-5) allowing for a customized fit based on your ear canal size, comfort needs, and hearing aid style.
You should consider changing your Starkey SnapFit CROS or SnapFit 2.0 CROS receiver if you experience a noticeable drop in sound quality, intermittent signal transmission, physical damage to the wire or connector, or if the receiver feels loose or uncomfortable in your ear. Additionally, receivers should generally be replaced every 6–12 months as part of regular hearing aid maintenance, especially if exposed to moisture, sweat, or debris. Always consult your hearing care professional if you’re unsure or experience persistent issues.
How to Use:
Gently snap the CROS receiver into the port on your compatible Starkey hearing aid. Make sure it is fully secured — the SnapFit or SnapFit 2.0 connection will click into place.
