The team over at GN ReSound have once more outdone themselves with this new top-of-the-range charging case. Not only does it take a mere 3 hours to fully charge a hearing aid, but it also includes an internal charger which means that you can carry it on the go. What’s more, this internal charger takes only 3.5 hours to charge itself, ideal for powering up overnight.
In addition, this premium charger case boasts a variety of different features designed to make the entire process as smooth as possible. For instance, each hearing aid bay is color-coordinated (blue for left and red for right) so that you can see which hearing aid slots in at a glance. Furthermore, built-in LED lights signify the current charging level of your hearing aids.
How to use:
Whenever you insert your hearing aids into the charging bays, up to 5 indicator lights will flash to show the current charge. These lights will stay on for 10 seconds before auto-switching off. This is a great way to quickly test your current charge. Do note, however, that if you leave your hearing aids to charge then the lights will remain on throughout. Below you can find a handy guide to the lighting system.
Hearing Aid Charging Level Lights:
- 1 light means 0-20% charged.
- 2 lights mean 20/40% charged.
- 3 lights mean 40/60% charged.
- 4 lights mean 60/80% charged.
- 5 lights mean 80/100% charged.
When the hearing aids are fully charged, the light will remain static.
Another outstanding aspect of the Premium Charger is the length of charge it can keep. When fully powered, you’re able to completely charge your hearing aids up to three times before the charger itself needs to be plugged back in!
Like the indicator lights for the hearing aid’s charge, the charge itself also displays a 3-bar gauge so that you can quickly and easily see how many charges you have left. When fully charged, the top light will become green and when it is at its lowest, the bottom red light will show. See below for a quick guide on this process.
Charger Case Power Level Lights:
- 1 blinking red light meaning less than 10% remaining.
- 1 light (no blinking) means 10/33% charged.
- 2 lights meaning 33/66% charged.
- 3 lights mean 66/100% charged.
One of the other components is called the receiver bay. This is for the receiver that is attached to the end of the hearing aids, which means that there’s no need to take your hearing aid apart! Furthermore, the receiver compartment is designed to help your hearing aids keep their shape by following the way they would have to fall into the ear. This means they have a safe place to be while the hearing aids charge. The receiver bay is found in the middle section of the charger case.
